It has been discussed that Columbus Ohio is on target to be the next “Austin” in no small part due to the youthful and talented pool of musicians in the area. Numerous genres are available all over the area, and one genre, Rockabilly, is well ensconced in the fiber of the culture. Shorty Allen and the Skirt Chasers may be one of the best. They have the sound down pat. All their songs are original compositions, and their live show has the hint of burlesque, showing that they are more than willing to take the risks to make it to the next level. This is a band you will learn to love.
