Charlie Jackson

Charlie Jackson and his daughter, Natalie, made a bold business move when they combined their talents to open in 2012 a new venue, named at the time Natalie’s Coal Fired Pizza in Worthington, Ohio. Natalie handled the top rate cuisines and Charlie focused on bringing the best talent from Central Ohio to his stage.

Never one to cut corners for the sake of saving a dollar, Charlie pursued a business model of giving his venue’s customers a first-class experience. The word spread very quickly. In a truly short time Natalie’s was selling out every show six days a week. Soon national acts began appearing on the stage as well. It became THE place to go for a top-notch evening of music and food.

In December of 2019 Charlie and Nancy expanded their operations with a move to a new larger location. They doubled their size offering two unique stages. In the front room “Charlie’s Stage”, they host a variety of musical genres, and customers can dine in a casual setting similar in many ways to their original location. A second room, called the Music Hall Stage, is equipped with state-of-the-art sound, lighting, and staging. The experience is wonderful with excellent viewing from any part of the room.

This interview gives you the history of Natalie’s, how they dealt with the pandemic in the winter of 2020, the solid business model of this enterprise and the impressive decision-making processes that were made that now have resulted in one of the VERY best concert setting in Central Ohio.
